Roofing contractors in Rex, answered.
What should a roofing bid include?
Roof area, materials by brand and product line, tear-off and disposal, underlayment and flashing, permit, start and finish dates, warranty terms and the payment schedule.
Should I always take the lowest bid?
No. A very low bid can mean thinner materials, missing steps or no insurance. Compare what is included, not only the total.
Do I need a permit for roofing contractors in Rex?
Many cities and counties require a building permit for roof work; the roofing company normally pulls it. Ask who is responsible and request a copy. Check with the Robeson County building department for local rules.
